Mahindra to relaunch Stallio 110 commuter motorcycle by this-Diwali!

The Stallio 110 was Mahindra Two Wheelers’ maiden offering in the high volume Indian commuter motorcycle market, and this product was launched soon after Mahindra acquired Kinetic Engineering Limited’s two wheeler business. The Stallio 110 was launched in late 2010, with Bollywood actor Aamir Khan gracing the occasion along with Anand Mahindra, the chairman of Mahindra &Mahindra. If you would remember, Mahindra two wheelers with their first ad for the Stallio, where Aamir Khan made references to the Karizma by using phrases like ‘Toofan se topi laati hai kya’. That the product wasn’t good enough, and Mahindra ended up making a mockery of itself. After facing technically setbacks, Mahindra two-wheelers now finally decided to push further the launch of Mahindra Stallio 110 commuter motorcycle to Diwali 2012. However, gearbox trouble meant that Mahindra had to pull the Stallio 110 out of the market to protect its brand name and image. Mahindra then began working closely with Engines Engineering of Italy to sort the gearbox issues. Recently, IndianCarsBikes.com has spotted a test mule of Mahindra Stallio 110 on the outskirts of Pune with spoke wheels. Mahindra Stallio 110 commuter motorcycle - 002 Now, we can say Mahindra Two-wheelers only have three automatic scooters in their magic box, until Diwali and are eager to enter back into high volume commuter motorcycles forte. The company can maintain its place by re-launching the updated version of Mahindra Stallio 110 as soon as they can without pushing the launch date any further.
